We also offer video and audio conversion services, so if you have been given an audio or video file that you are having trouble opening or playing we can convert it into a more widely recognised format. This allows us to work from more historical forms of data and update the information onto a more accessible. We can also work with hard copies of video and audio files such as DVD’s, CDs, USB, cassette tapes and even records.

If you have recorded your audio files on your phone, we are able to accept dictation and recordings directly from your iPhone, iPad or android phone via dropbox or via various apps available via iTunes and Google Play. We often transcribe audio recordings via this method of recording. Please get in touch for more information. Please note that iPhones, iPads and android devices are not suitable for recording group or multiple speaker interviews.

There are obviously advantages and disadvantages to using various video and sound formats. Please be aware that larger sound files may take longer to upload and download, so may have a slightly longer turnaround, especially if they need to be converted into another format.
