Work For Us – Transcription Jobs

We are always on the lookout for talented secretaries and transcriptionists to join our team. So this week, we thought we’d let you know what we look for in our secretaries and audio typists.

Work for Transcription City

All of our secretaries are experienced, hard working professionals who pride themselves on reliability, accuracy and a can do attitude. They work on their own initiative and are able to transcribe easy and difficult audio files alike. For instance, if you are able to transcribe a two hour group interview of ten rowdy people with accents that was recorded at a noisy music event on an iPhone– we want to hear from you!
We expect that you will have at least five years’ experience in your chosen field and show us a “can do” attitude even at short notice. You must also demonstrate excellent grammar, punctuation and spelling skills (this will be tested). As well as having all of your own transcription equipment and software.
The Transcription City team is a friendly one and we are happy to hear from anyone who has the qualities described above. In fact, we have included some testimonials from some of the transcriptionists and secretaries who work for us.
Transcription City is a great company to work for, they let me do the work that I enjoy and are always around if I need any help. – Stephen Wood.
I love that I am able to do the work that I have experience in, so I know that I will always do a good job.
– Helen Bruce.
I spent many years as a secretary and when I was made redundant from my job, I feared that I would be forced to retire. Transcription City gives me the best of both worlds; a job that I know I am great at and the time to do what I want to do.
– Betty Sheppard.
Working for Transcription City means that I have the freedom to take care of my kids at home and also keep working
– Aida Wood.
So if you think you would make a good addition to our team, please visit our “Work for Us” page for more details.
