What is Transcription?
Transcription services provide a means of exporting the dialogue from a audio or video file into text form (also known as a transcript). Transcription is also sometimes called audio typing, as the typist or transcriptionist will listen to the audio from a sound or video file and type what can be heard. A foot pedal is used to slow down the audio to a rate that can be typed. It can take between 3-6 hours to type an hour of audio or video, depending on the quality of the recording and the type or style of transcription. Videos or audio files can be transcribed in a variety of languages and can also be transcribed and translated simultaneously.
Are your Transcription Services Secure?

We are also compliant with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA). All our staff (transcriptionists, typists, translators, proof-readers and linguists) have signed confidentiality agreements. Your files are uploaded via our secure, encrypted SSL 256-bit processing, which utilises firewall via a private network. We can also password protect your documents if required.
How Much Do You Charge for your Transcription Services?

Can you transcribe multilingual video or audio files?
We can transcribe audio and video in a wide variety of languages. This includes transcribing source language to source language, as well as direct translation from one language directly into another. We can also provide both transcription and translation on the same transcript, meaning you can view dialogue in both the source language and the translated, target language.
Do you provide transcription services in language other than English?
We can transcribe audio and video files in almost any language. We can also provide transcription with time codes, visual descriptions, discourse analysis and more.
Do you Provide Subtitling Services and Captioning Services?
We provide both subtitling and captioning services in a variety of languages and file formats. We can provide both open and closed captioning depending on your needs and requirements.
Can you edited transcription for Podcasts?
We provide edited transcripts for video and audio files, that you can then use either as an accompanying transcript or for the basis of an article or a blog.
